"Purgatoryo" tells the story of Ilyong, a recently-dead man killed by the police, after he was caught stealing. This is the beginning of his story - his death. Soon after, he is brought into a sleazy funeral home, run by Violet, a greedy homosexual who has learned to survive by renting out the dead bodies in his funeral home to Simon. Along for the ride is Jojo, a police officer who is under the payroll of Simon and who supplies the dead bodies for Violet to take care of and make money from. Violet has two workers, On-on and Dyograd, who clean the cadavers and prepare them for the wake. On-on, for all his good looks, no longer feels alive except when he is gambling. Dyograd, on the other hand, only feels alive when he is having sex. 攻克柏林

Roden,鲍里斯·捷宁,维克托·斯坦尼岑,Oleg Frelikh,鲍里斯·里瓦诺夫,谢尔盖·比林尼科夫,Vladimir Lyubimov,Konstantin BartasheviMikheil Chiaureli是斯大林的御用导演，《攻克柏林》长达近五个小时，分上下两部，处处着重突出最高统帅的高瞻远瞩。影片结尾，斯大林乘飞机抵达陷落的柏林，接受苏军的欢呼。其实这是“艺术虚构”。和《斯大林格勒战役》一样，这场实际主要由朱可夫将军指挥的战役，影片中丝毫没有他的影子。当时朱可夫已经因为功高震主，被罗织罪名，发配到乌拉尔军区去了，这是1946年的事。这部1949年的电影很自然地就将朱可夫的功劳“艺术虚构”到伟大领袖的头上了。 因为这部影片，导演连续获得了两次国家奖金，包括1950年的斯大林奖金。中国观众熟悉的《难忘的1919》（1952）也是出自这位导演的手笔。值得一提的是，这两部影片都是由苏联作曲家肖斯塔科维奇谱曲的。

One day an intense little man named Steinmetz shows up, who has the real ability to create objects out of thin air, using only his mind. As no one believes him at first, he is held at a ward for mental patients, but manifests the key to his door and escapes. As he has a special interest in Dr. Holst, Steinmetz subsequently invites Holst to his large mansion, which is full of expensive paintings and sculptures, and proves to him that he can in fact materialise objects. Steinmetz’s abilities are evolving by leaps and bounds, and is progressing from being able to create objects only to being able to create living things. His ultimate ambition is to be able to create a human being. He tells Dr. Holst that if he will only perform a certain brain operation on him, Steinmetz will become able to attain his goal. He’s got all the necessary equipment set up in his basement. Dr. Holst, however, is too spooked by the whole thing to agree to this mad scheme, and refuses. Steinmetz then sets about manipulating Holst’s life, to pressure him into performing the operation. By then Steinmetz has become able to create a temporary human being, and in the hope that he can perhaps make his own creation perform the operation, he manifests a doppelganger of Dr. Holst. This double proceeds to take over Dr. Holst’s life, creating chaos for him professionally and personally. And then Dr. Holst starts fighting back. The ending has the dual virtue of being both unexpected and satisfying.

伊武雅刀,洞口依子,森本治行,吉田友紀東宝ビデオのシネパック第一弾として、1991年11月8日にリリースされたのがこの『ミカドロイド』である。 第二次大戦末期、敗色濃厚な日本。その中で帝国陸軍が極秘裏に研究していた秘密兵器、それが人造人間“ジンラ號”。敗戦とともに歴史から抹消されたジンラ號であったが、空襲で埋没した研究所の中、眠り続けていた一体があった。そして今、半世紀の歳月を経て、ジンラ號が東京の地下に蘇る！ ふとした偶然でその地下迷宮に迷い込んでしまった若い男女二人は何を見るのか？ 未完成の人造人間として老いる事も出来ずに彷徨い続けてきた謎の男、彼は一体何を望むのか？ 本作は舞台となる場所と時間が狭い範囲に限定されているため、物語の密度が濃く、一夜限りの幻想的な悪夢のような作品となっている。 ジンラ號のデザインを担当したのはイラストレーターの明日蘭。蒸気機関車のような旧式なラインでまとめられているジンラ號は一見ユーモラスで鈍重な外見だが、内に潜ませた悪夢と狂気が不思議な説得力を持ち、印象深い仕上がりとなっている。またジンラ號専用武器として設計されたという設定の“１００式短機関銃改「ベ式」テラ銃”は、当時の落下傘部隊が使用した実銃をモチーフにいかにもそれらしくまとめられており、ジンラ號の設定をよりリアルな物としている。その他、南部十四年式拳銃や９６式軽機関銃などの各種プロップガンもリアルな作動シーンを見せて画面を引き締めている。 監督を務めたのは特殊メイククリエイターとして有名な原口智生。本作は原口自身が長年あたためてきた企画で、原口の監督デビュー作となった。
